LIGHT SUMMER MAKEUP

It actually feels like summer in England at the moment! It's hot and sweaty and the last thing I want to do is put lots of makeup on in the morning. This makeup has actually transferred from my holiday makeup, it's perfect for a quick bit of something without looking or feeling too heavy on the skin. Plus, I actually managed to get a bit of a tan while in Cyprus meaning my pale face needs a bit of bronzing up to match the rest of my body. I can do this makeup in around 5 minutes, leaving me fresh faced and ready to face the day.

I always do my eyes first when it comes to makeup. I've been skipping out the eyeshadow as for every day-to-day wear I just can't be bothered! Instead I just curl my lashes to the max and use the Max Factor False Lash Effect mascara to give me lashes some oomph. I have super straight down eyelashes so this step is always a must for me. Next I comb through my brows with the Benefit Gimme Brow. This is again a quick and easy product to give your eyebrows a bit of colour while helping them stay in place all day. I had my HD brows done just before holiday so they're on top form at the moment.

Onto the face, and I begin by priming with the Too Faced Hangover Primer. This is so beautifully moisturising and makes my skin lovely and smooth ready for some foundation. I just take about a pump and spread it all over my face. For foundation I've been using the Charlotte Tilbury Light Wonder in 2 Fair. When I first bought this the shade was a tad too dark for my winter (aka pale) skin. However come these warmer months and this provides a lovely bit of bronze to my skin without having a disastrous orange face white neck situation! With SPF 15 and a really light coverage it's not the foundation for big events with photography, however for summer days it's perfect. I use the Real Techniques Sponge to press this into the skin, mainly starting in the centre of my face and working outwards. This foundation gives the perfect summer glowy look without being too sweaty looking. I find it also stays on my skin really well (sandwiched between primer and setting spray).

The rest of my face is also kept simple, Urban Decay Naked Concealer in Fair is used to brighten the inner corner of my eyes and conceal any little red spots. This isn't too high coverage but still helps to brighten and cover. A little dusting of the Rimmel Stay Matte Powder in Translucent just through my T-zone to keep the shine at bay. Then I use some of the Benefit Hoola Bronzer to sculpt out my non-existent cheek bones a little and add a bit more bronze around my skin. This is gorgeous matte bronzer which helps to amp up the sun-kissed look. A quick spritz of the Urban Decay All Night Setting Spray and voila! Quick, easy, and perfect for summer!

What are your go to products for this warm weather?
