THE BUDGET LONG LASTING EYESHADOW

A while ago I purchased my first ever item from KIKO. The Long Lasting Stick in 37 is a deep rich red toned colour which is ace for a more dramatic eye. I only picked up one the first time as I didn't know how much I'd love it, but boy I do! Hence why the next time I was near a KIKO store I picked up another two shades to add to my collection. The shade 25 is a light champagne colour, while 39 provides a deeper chocolate brown hue. If I could own the whole collection of these I really would they're that great, and I'm about to tell you why.

First of all, I adore the packaging of these products. Sleek matte black is always a winner in my books. Having the colour of the product shown on the bottom of the stick means you don't have to open each and every one to find the colour you need either. Another reason these get a big thumbs up from me is because I love the fact that these don't require any sharpening in order to release more product. Having a twist up contraption means this are super travel friendly! But obviously, one of the winning factors in my eyes is their lasting power. You'd hope with a product name like 'long lasting stick' you'd get what is claims but you 100% do. I can apply these first thing in the morning and still look liked I've freshly applied my makeup 8+ hours later. You get a couple of minutes blending time when you first apply these to work them to your liking but after that they will not budge. I really like wearing 37 as a wash all over the lid for a smokey night out eye look, or sporting 25 as my lid colour with 39 blended into the outer-v and crease of my eye for a more simple everyday look.

KIKO is a brand that is quickly working it's way up my list of favourite brands, with their sleek packaging, amazing shade ranges and very affordable price. I'd highly recommend you check out these eyeshadow sticks, especially if you've been eyeing up the By Terry Ombre Blackstar as these are just as good and less than a quarter of the price.

Have you tried anything from KIKO?
