There's no denying I'm a die hard Revlon lip product fan. Whether it's the Revlon Kissable Balm Stains or the Revlon Lip Butters I'm all over them. So when I was casually browsing the aisles of Boots and I noticed these I knew I needed to try them. My small town Boots didn't have the biggest selection so I picked up one neutral shade and one brighter shade. The Revlon Ultra HD Lipstick in Hydrangea is a bright bright fuchsia pick, perfect for really perking up your makeup. These lipsticks apply like a dream, with a rich creamy formula you get great pay off and application in an instant. With the brighter of the two shades I picked up this is lovely, however it does mean you have to be a bit more careful and steady with your application to make sure everything looks precise. Once on the lips neither of this lipsticks feel drying, in fact it's the complete opposite. Moisture is not a problem with these lipsticks, although this does mean the lasting power is slightly reduced. These won't last through eating or drinking and will need a few re-applications throughout the day.
The more neutral option I picked up is Revlon's Ultra HD Lipstick in Rose. This is a lovely rosy everyday colour that adds a bit more of a pink tinge to my normal bare lip colour. The range comes in a lovely silver style packaging with a clear lid. Although these lipsticks get bonus points for their ease of spotting the different colours, with the formula being so creamy if you catch the edge of the product when popping its lid back on don't be surprise if you chop a chunk out of the side. The lipsticks also have a slight sweet smell to them, while may not sail your boat. It really doesn't bother me but I know some people detest the scent. While I love the shades and formulas of these lipsticks they're the type I've been opting for if I know I'm not too fussed about a long lasting staining colour. I probably won't pick up any more shades for now, however if you have drier lips I'd really recommend you try these out.
