The weather is really heating up now, which means I'm trying to mix up my makeup a bit. Today I decided to go for something quite neutral and simple, pulling out some of my MAC eyeshadow that don't receive half as much love as they used to. To start things off I primed my eyelids with the Urban Decay Primer Potion which helps the eyeshadows stick all day. Next I applied some MAC Omega Eyeshadow in the crease of my lids. I did this first to make sure all the eyeshadows I applied after blended out my easily. A sweep of MAC Shroom Eyeshadow all over the lid followed by MAC Mystery Eyeshadow in the outer v of my eye created a perfect neutral ombre look. To build up my wimpy eyelashes I drew a thin black line with the Collection Felt Tip Liner along my upper lash line. No surprise that the Max Factor False Lash Effect Mascara graced my eyelashes, providing me with a heck of a lot of volume and length to complete the eye look.
Onto my face and I opted for the Revlon Nearly Naked Foundation. I've found this has a lovely satin finish that is great for those hot days where you want to keep the shine at bay while still having that healthy luminosity. I just applied a drop of this with my hands and blended it all over the skin. Just to be extra sure that shine would stay at bay I swept some Soap and Glory One Heck of A Blot powder over my T-Zone and my jawline. As I'm naturally quite flushed I do look quite strange without a rosy glow to my cheeks, so I grabbed my trusty Stila Convertible Colour in Peony to add that back into my face. Last but not least I used the stunning Burberry Kisses Lipstick in 05 Nude Pink which I'm resentful to have fallen in love with due to it's high price. This a gorgeous pink colour which finished this look of really nicely.
