It's no secret that I'm a sucker for lip balms and lip products, so when I was offered the chance to try the *Scrub Stick from Kiss Cosmetics I was over the moon. For some bizarre reason my skin has been really freaking out at the moment and has been very dry, especially my lips. This product combines a lip balm with a scrub, meaning no more faffing around with that loose sugar scrub from Lush and getting it all over your face. The scrub stick comes in a small and pretty tube (although the packaging was so hard to photograph due to it's pretty reflective packaging!). To use it you simple rub the balm over your lips in a circular motion, to both exfoliate and moisturise your lips.

As I said I love lip balms and this one is no exception. The bits that exfoliate your lips do come off however this is easily fixed with a bit of rubbing into the lips, which I find helps to lock in the moisturising balm that is left. In terms of its exfoliating powers it's not as abrasive as the Lush Bubblegum scrub, but I tend to use that in the cold dry winter lip times, whereas this is more spring appropriate. Kiss Cosmetics are a relatively new brand but they do not test on animals which is always a bonus for a brand in my eyes. Overall I'm really impressed with this product, and I'm sure it will be a staple in my handbag. This retails for £6.50 which is such a good price, and is released on the 13th of May for you to get your hands on. If you fancy checking this or any of the other Kiss Cosmetics products out then head over to their website

Have you tried anything from this brand? Or have any lip recommendations?

  1. I've never heard of this brand before, but this does sound pretty awesome because I always get dry lips and a lip balm that exfoliates and moisturises sounds perfecto!
