Since being on a student budget, there are few times that I see something which I just buy there and then. However, this purchase was just that. The Essie isle in Boots is always a dangerous territory for me, the names of the polishes and the colour selection often ends up in a purchase happening. This time I fell in love with this duo - which works out pretty cheap considering the polishes on their own are £7.99 - called Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.
I've been sporting this both over christmas and new year, it's just the perfect duo for this festive season. The colours which come in this duo are Bobbing for Baubles and Set in Stones. A beautiful deep navy blue and a full on silver glitter, I tend to have one accent finger nail dedicated to the glitter which is personally the way I like to incorporate glitter into my manicures. Although they're not your typical festive reds and greens I've really been loving this duo and will continue to wear it until I decide it's time to pull out the spring pastels...
Have you tried Essie polishes before?
So gorgeous! The combo of these shades is really quite classy actually - I adore the navy. I actually don't have that many Essie shades but man oh man, the shade range is amazing!

What a gorgeous combination! I tend to avoid glitter polishes as they're a pain to remove but sometimes they're worth the extra work. xx
