Revlon Colorstay Moisture Stain in New York Scene
Maybelline Colour Drama Lip Pencil in Light It Up
Topshop Rio Rio Lipstick
The winter approaches, and with it brings the urge to pull out the red lip products. This year I've been loving reds more than before, and I've also found I've collected a range of finishes which have been gracing my lips. First up is a glossy red lip, now some may not be a fan of this but I love the deep red berry shade of the Revlon Colorstay Moisture Stain in New York Scene. I am a massive lover of Revlon lip products, this is no exception. It stains the lips really well, and applies nice and smoothly to the lips.
Next up is a more satin finish red which comes in the form of Maybelline's Color Drama Lip Pencil in Light It Up. These have been compared to the NARS Lip Pencils but I've not tried those so I cannot comment on that. This also glides onto the lips really well, and is nice and creamy which is lovely for a pencil. The colour is more of a true red as opposed to the more berry tones of the first.
Last but not least is a matte red that I've loved and used for years now. Topshop's Rio Rio lipstick was the first makeup product I purchased when the Topshop makeup range came out. Even though it has a matte finish it is not at all drying, and has more of an orange red tone. This lipstick makes your teeth look lovely and white, and when applied in thin layers stays on the lips for absolutely ages, even through eating and drinking! So those are my three reds which I've been loving this year.
