Bye Bye Braces!

So I never really spoke about having braces on my blog, it's something I just wanted to get over with and so I was extremely happy when the orthodontist told me I could have my braces off a few weeks ago. The reason I needed them in the first place was because I had a overly-attached-baby-tooth who didn't want to come out naturally and so had to be forced out. The braces meant they pulled the adult tooth down quicker and made sure it didn't buge any of the others out of the way in the process.

My experience was pretty good, I got them on last October and off beginning of September. The first couple of weeks were hard eating as my teeth were very sensitive, and I will definitely not miss constantly getting food stuck in between the wires (niiice, I know!). My lovely friends were really nice about my braces and said they suit me but I'm certainly a lot more confident in my smile and when I'm laughing, which happens a fair bit when I'm around the girls. To anyone who is going to get braces, suck it up and get on with it, it's worth the wait.

Did you have braces? Or do you know if you'll have to have them?

P.S To find out the makeup I'm wearing in this post make sure you check back in October!

  1. I hated wearing braces, food got stuck in them all the time and i remember the first day I got braces and my teeth were so sensitive that I couldn't even eat bread... But YAY you got your braces off!! I love your makeup btw x

  2. I always hear about the pain my friends go through when they get their braces tightened, but then when they get them off, they have the most beautiful white smile! I'm actually a bit envious hehe. So do you! x
