Hey guys, I'll be honest this is a face I wore a couple of weeks ago but I really loved how it turned out (side note how amazing is the summer holidays which means you can spend ages trying out new things with your makeup?!) so I thought I'd take a few snaps and share what I slapped on my face.
As per usual I start everything off by priming my eyes with my trusty Urban Decay Primer Potion. I actually put a layer of the Collection Eye Crayon in over the top but didn't like the finish of it so bobbed some of MAC's Naked Lunch Eyeshadow over it which gave a lovely peachy shimmery look. Standard M&S Eyeshadow in Taupe for the crease which is just the best grey/brown matte crease colour. A thin line of Maybelline's Master Precise Liner, MAC's Brule Eyeshadow under the brow bone then lashing of the Max Factor False Lash Effect Mascara really helps open my eyes and makes me look more awake. I put some of the Smashbox Eyeliner on my tight line to really darken and emphasise my lashes and popped some of the Rimmel Scandleyes Eyeliner in Nude on the water line to cancel out any redness. As a slightly different summery look I got a small angled brush and smudged MAC's Moon Reflection under my lash line which really brings out the colour of my eyes.
Eyes done by simple summer base this year has been Revlon's Nearly Naked Foundation in Ivory blended in with the fingers followed by a small blob of Collections Highlighting Concealer to hide any it's-the-summer-I've-not-slept-much bags. Soap and Glory's One Heck Of A Blot powder was dusted through my T zone and a new favourite of mine, Stila's Convertible Colour in Peony was blended on and up my cheeks. This is by far the easiest cream blush I've ever used and I must invest in some more at some point! I digress... Everything was finished off with Stila's Lip Glaze in Guava to complete the summery healthy glowy look. I really loved this look and it's been something I've been sporting quite a lot this summer.
