Meet Hydralurons Big Sister - Moisture Jelly

I picked this beauty up after feeling enabled by Jess from Jessica Beautician (that girl is trouble for my bank!) and also after discovering that it was 1/3 off in Boots. As you may know I've been a fan of the Hydraluron serum which really injects some moisture into my normal/dry skin so when I saw Indeed Labs were bringing out a big sister in the form of a moisturiser I was all over it.

Let's address the packaging first, similarly to the Kate Somerville Goat's Milk Moisturiser this comes with a press down pump which produces the perfect amount of product while keeping the product inside airtight and hygienic. Win, win, win. I also love the simplicity of the tub with the dash of pink. But onto the product inside, it is similar to the consistency of the serum maybe a tiny bit thicker but sinks into the skin really quickly which is why I've been favouring it for use in the morning rather than in the evening when I like to use a thicker cream or facial oil. It also leaves a slightly matte finish on the skin which makes applying foundation over the top a dream! I feel this would be good for many skin types as it's moisturising while leaving a slightly matte finish at the same time.

It's a thumbs up from me! Have you tried this?
What's your favourite moisturiser?

  2. This sounds promising and the packaging looks both functional and cute. I wasn't really the biggest fan of the serum though, so I'm unsure if I would enjoy this!

  3. I just purchased it and my first impression is really good!! I was confused by the tube in the beginning, but love the idea now! My favorite moisturizer at the moment is the Origins GinZing one! xx

  7. Great Post, I'm in two minds whether to pick this up or not because I did try the original tube and didn't see the big fuss. Thanks for sharing, your blog is beautiful! Kate x
