Polaroid Loving

Bit of a different post today, I just wanted to tell you about one of my favourite products at the moment. I saved up for this during exams as I really wanted to have some physical pictures of my prom and other events I had coming up. Sometimes I feel it's nice to have a memory that you can hold and keep hold of forever rather than taking loads of photos on your phone which could disappear into thin air.

Out of the many choices of polaroid/instant cameras I chose the Fujifilm Instax Mini 8 camera which I have heard many bloggers rave about, and obviously being my favourite colour I chose the blue. This came with two packs of film which each contain 10 photos. It takes a bit of getting used to how to position the lens and how far to hold it etc but it's honestly so good. I used this on the last day of school as well as my prom the other week. There's four different lighting settings which can be altered depending on how light you want the photo but I tend to just leave it as it is. In summary if you're looking for a instant camera that is easy to use and the photos look adorable then I'd recommend this.

Do you prefer physical photos to digital?

  10. My sister is getting me one of these for my 18th birthday, and I can't wait to try it out! There is something more satisfying about having the old-school print outs rather than the digital copies of photos :)
