Superfacialist By Una Brennan Clay Mask

I mentioned in my March Favourites that I was preparing a review for the Pore Purifying Clay Mask, so here it is today. A while ago my skin was being a bit unkind, I had lots of tiny white spots in random patches on my face. As I usually do when I'm having skin issues I headed to Carolines Hirons blog and discovered I needed to purchase a clay mask. When I was next in Boots I picked this beauty up for £8.99.

When you apply this to the skin it has a lovely cooling sensation. It's a fairly thick grey cream which goes on like a moisturiser but dries in about 10 / 15 mins of application. It does say to keep it on until it sets but I'm more than likely to be found sporting this on my face for the whole of the Sunday #bbloggers chat! I tend to use this 2 to 3 times a week, I've been using it religiously for a month or so now and have noticed such a difference in the way my skin feels and looks. It makes my skin look fresher and it feels like it's had a super clean out of any nasties. I remove it with a warm wet flannel, I must admit it isn't the quickest for removal as it takes a few rounds of soaking the face to budge it. This is the first product I've tried from Una Brennan and boy is it love.

Have you tried any products from this range?

  2. I haven't tried anything from the range (sadly it isn't available where I live), but I've heard great things about it, this one is no exception I guess!

  10. I'm a big fan of cooling masks - this one sounds really effective and deep cleansing. I've heard good things about Super Facialist especially since it's a relatively affordable range.

  21. I've always wanted to try the Una Brennan masks, but alas, nowhere to be found in the US. Have you tried the Origins Clear Improvements Mask? I'd love to know how you think they compare if you have!

  22. Oh this seems like an amazing solution for a reasonable price! I've been dying to try this brand but you can't buy it over here. Might need to book myself a flight to London to try out this and some other UK gems. ^^
