MY FAVOURITE SUMMER LIP PICKS

From corals to hot pinks, I love a summer lip pick. Today I thought I would let you in on which lip products I've been reaching for in summer 2013.

As you may be able to tell from the photo above, I'm not a huge matte lips fan in the summer. The glossy, shiny lip is more my style. My first pick is a long time favourite, Rimmel's Moisture Renew Lipstick in Soft Coral. I purchased this god knows how long ago, but our love affair is still going strong. It's a beautiful 'soft coral' colour, with some slight shimmer in, which really brightens the face and looks laarvley. Next up is the Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Lovesick. I wanted to pick this one up for summer so when I saw they were £5.99 instead of £7.99 I nabbed this hot fushia pink up. This looks amazing with a simple outfit, and I've been wearing this a 'hella-lot' recently.

Onto glosses, the Rimmel Stay Glossy Lipgloss in All Day Seduction and No7 High Shine Lipgloss in Smile have been gracing my lips this summer. Both have a non sticky formula, with the Rimmel one being on the more coral side, almost like the Rimmel Soft Coral Lipstick but in gloss form. The No7 High Shine is on the pinkier side, but by gosh this doesn't half brighten and awaken your complexion. How does it do it? I don't have a clue. (Be aware my No7 Lipgloss is in the old packaging if you're thinking of picking it up). Finally how could I not include a lipstick/lipgloss hybrid in the form of a Revlon Lip Butter in Candy Apple. There is no doubt about the fact that I was enabled by essiebutton to buy this, a beautiful bright basic red that just looks gorgeous.

So there's my picks! What have you been lip loving this summer?
