The Lust List #1

Definition of Lust; An overwhelming desire or craving. That's right, today I thought I would tell you some of the products that I have been wanting to pick up recently, and will do, eventually.

1. Urban Decay Primer Potion
Mine is currently on the way out, and has turned a bit of a weird consistency, so I really would like a new one, especially with the warm summer months coming up (hopefully!) when your makeup needs that extra staying power.

2. Benefit Creaseless Cream Shadows in Bikini Teeny and No Pressure
I love the new packaging of these, and recently have been opting for a simple eye with the lips being the focus of my look. I have swatched these and they seem smooth, blendable and really easy to work with.

3. Max Factor False Lash Effect
I owned this a while ago and loved it. I am currently using the Rimmel Lash Accelorator Endless and when I have finished it I will definitely go back to my beloved Max Factor. This mascara makes my lashes look long, voluminous and curly, the look I love.

4. Bourjois Cream Blushes
These are huge on the bloggersphrere at the moment, and being a cream blush virgin, I'd love these to be my first. The colours look lovely, and the finish looks right up my street.

5. Real Techniques Stippling Brush
To go with the above, I don't feel able to apply cream blush with my fingers, I just feel it would drag my skin which I'm not a huge fan of! I love the Real Techniques Core Collection, so I'm sure I can't go wrong with the Stippling brush.

6. Max Factor Giant Pen Stick
After Megan (lipsofacto) showed these on her blog I've been lusting after the Sutble Coral Shade. Recently I've been reaching for a light glossy lip for spring, and this seems like it would fit the bill.

7. Revlon Colourstay Suede Lipsticks
Long lasting, opaque colour, sounds like my kind of lipstick. I'd really like a nice pink I can wear in the summer, or a coral, as I seem to be reaching for those a lot.

8. Essie In The Cab-ana
The perfect summer colour? I think so. The whole of the Essie Resort Collection 2013 looks incredible, but this is by far the stand out shade.

9. Urban Decay Setting Spray
Again, I product I used up a while ago and haven't got round to repurchasing. I bought this before my prom in July 2012 and it worked so well. I'm not too sure about the new packaging, but the product is so amazing I'm not that fussed about the outside!

10. The Body Shop Mango Perfume
As well as a 'proper' perfume I always like a lighter one that I can carry around with me to freshen up with in the hotter months. I sprayed this when I was in The Body shop the other day and it smelt incredible.

What have you been 'lusting' over?

What I've Been Loving #1

I'm so sorry I've been MIA recently, what with AS Levels I've been a teeny bit busy (understatement). I am currently watching Waterloo Road on a revision break, having finished half of my exams, I am very much looking forwards to a break when I can blog and film to my hearts' content. I thought I would do a really quick update, telling you what I've been loving (may start doing these more regularly, don't count your chickens!).

Beauty Products

This featured in my April Favourites, and I'm still loving it in may. It's such a beautiful lipgloss that is non sticky, pretty and smells incredible.

I picked this up to pop in my beauty bag that I carry everywhere with me. It's thin so easy to travel with, smells amazing and is really thick. The only thing I'm not keep on is sticking my finger in!

Blogs

I love Helen's blog. She does all kind's of posts, I especially loved her recent post on what she took on holiday to rome.

Amelia's blog is so classy, full of informative posts, from posts about budget products to high end products, Amelia's blog has the best of both worlds!

I feel like Hannah and I have really similar tastes in beauty products. Hannah does great hauls and really useful posts.

What's On My Face #4

Summer is finally on it's way, so today I decided to go for my signature summer look. I love this look because it involves my two favourite colours for summer - blue and coral.

I started off by moisturising then applying my base of L'oreal True Match, which gives a beautiful natural finish and evens out my skin tone. For eyes I kept it pretty simple, primed with Rimmel Exagerate Primer, then I used the pinky 'lid' eyeshadow from Wet n Wild's Walking On Eggshells Trio as a wash all over my lids. This is a slightly more pinky colour than MAC's Naked Lunch, but if you have that it will also work well with this look. I then used MAC's Brule to highlight my browbone, curled my lashes and applied my Rimmel Lash Accelerator Endless. With a small angled brush I applied MAC's Moon's Reflection (which was my first ever MAC eyeshadow) to the outer edge of my lower lash line, then highlighted my tearduct area with the 'browbone' shade from the Wet n Wild's Walking On Eggshells Trio. To finish the look off I applied NARS Orgasm blush to my cheeks and Rimmel's Soft Coral Lipstick to my lips.

I love this look because it brings out my blue eyes and yet is simple and keeps the amount of products fairly minimal.

What's your favourite summer look?
