Lush Bubblegum Lip Scrub Review

Lush Bubblegum Lip Scrub (Lush £5.25)

A while ago I made a video about a DIY Lip Scrub (link) and although I do love it, it does have to be kept in the fridge and this doesn't. I just wanted something simple, quick and easy. I picked this up while I was shopping and I have already shown it in a haul.

I've been using this every night before bed, afterwards I use an intensive lip balm, and it helps make my lips smooth and kissable! I also use this before wearing a matte lipstick/lip stain as they tend to show the dry patches on the lips, but they are all gone with this lip scrub. Also this smells just like bubblegum. Overall a super scrub for scummy lips!

Do you use a lip scrub?

Bourjois Nail Polish Remover Review

Bourjois Magic Nail Polish Remover (Boots £4.99)

I showed this in my recent haul (link) as a repurchase. When this originally came out, I thought it was going to be a bit of a gimmick but as it turns out this has dramatically changed my nail polish life. Yes it may not take 1 second, but it is so much quicker than using standard nail polish remover and cotton pads.

Simply stick your finger in the hole (*sniggers*) twist a couple of times, and voila gone! I found my last one worked well for about 3/4 months until Nails Inc Piccadilly Circus ruined it, and it was going quite sticky. It also has a lovely berry scent which is much nicer than the average nail polish remover!

Have you tried this?

What's On My Face

This post is inspired by two bloggers I've been loving at the moment, Lily (whatihearttoday) and Sophie (sophieetc) who have both been doing fotd/womf posts. I thought I would share with you what I'm wearing. Today I was filming a haul (up soon on my youtube!) so went slightly heavier on my makeup but still keeping it natural.

I started off priming my lids with Rimmel Exaggerate Primer, then popped the browbone colour from the Wet'n'Wild Walking On Eggshells palette. MAC Era as my blending/crease colour, and a darker brown to define the outer v of my eye. I then used my beloved Collection Extreme Eyeliner really close to the lash line. Applied my holy grail Max Factor mascara then highlighted the browbone with MAC's Brule. I always like to put the Wet'n'Wild colour in my tearduct area as it really brightens my eyes. I then put some black eyeliner on the tightline and Rimmel Scandeleyes Eyeliner in Nude on the waterline to reduce redness and waken up the eyes.

For my face, I used my one and only L'oreal True Match Foundation. I love how natural it looks on my skin, and matches my pale (snow white) complexion. I never really use powder as my skin is dry anyway, and I don't find my foundation moves throughout the day! By using my Sleek Face Contour Kit I subtly contoured my face. Using a NARS Orgasm really makes my makeup look natural and sweet. The only highlighter I own, the one that comes in the Sleek Contour Kit, applied on the tops of my cheeks for some extra glow.

I stupidly forgot to include the lips in my products photo, but I'm wearing Rimmel Apocalips in Celestial, which is showing up more coral on camera than it is in real life. Celestial is a beautiful pink that makes the face look bright and healthy and has been my go-to lip all week.

Thats the look! Let me know what you think/what you've been wearing.

MAC Cocktail Coral Lipgloss Set

Top to bottom (On The Scene, Sublime Shine, Geo Pink, Out For Glamour)

The other week I got home from school and had a surprise package from my Auntie in America. To my delight it was the Cocktail Coral Lipgloss set from the Guilty Passions collection at MAC. She sent them to me as she received them for christmas and didn't feel she'd wear them, and knowing what a beauty fanatic I am sent them to me! (Thank you so so much!)

I'd never tried MAC lipglosses before. They last for about four hours, nice and creamy, and have a light vanilla scent which I love!

Left to right (On The Scene, Sublime Shine, Geo Pink, Out For Glamour)

My go to colour out of this set is Geo Pink. I mentioned it in January Favourites video (link here), its a beautiful pink/orange colour with slight shimmers. Its beautiful and wakes up my face, which is why I've been using it a lot!

Awkward lip swatch of Geo Pink!

I know these were part of a collection no longer available but I'm sure you'll be able to pick it up off ebay!

Have you been loving any lipglosses recently?

NOTD NAILS INC FENCHURCH STREET

 Fenchurch Street

Bonjourno lovers!

The other day I blogged about my Nails Inc purchase the other week (linked here) and as I wrote it I had this beautiful colour on my nails. Fenchurch Street is a squirrel/chocolate creme brown, my pinkie finger is most accurate in the photo. It applies beautifully, no problems, which to be honest I'd expect for £11 a bottle usually!

What do you have on your nails?
